- i firstly began by creating a black border as well as inserting an image which is similar to that on my poster which is from a scene on the film linking to both products. as well as the technology influenced font used for the title and the bold slogan used used throughout to help keep the product recognisable.
- to this i added my film review, plot, stats and star ratings. i used page splitters and titles to make it easier for the readers to navagate round the page i also importantly included the date in which the film is showcased.
- i then felt my last review draft was to crammed and not using the sace on the page as much as i could, therefore i changed the font size and rearanged the layout of the page changing where each element was placed.
- when researching more magazine film reviews it was clear they used columns much more therefore i split my plot section into seperate columns. also when printing the review the writing still seemed to big therefore i down sized it to 12pt font. again i altered the layouts of the page using the space provided much more. i lastly most importantly added where the film is showcased and dates which its on.

Research and planning - DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD.
for my double page spread i wanted to create something which was simplistic yet had enough information to promote the film without giving the whole thing away. from looking at examples like empire magazine i used similar conventions to appeal to my target audience.
